Simbarashe, a young boy living in rural Zimbabwe, found himself orphaned after the passing of both his parents. He went to live with his grandmother who was under stress as she was already caring for a number of other orphans. With the help of Bopoma Villages, a household garden was developed to provide food for Simbarashe’s grandmother and the children under her care. Bopoma Villages also assisted Simbarashe in obtaining a birth certificate allowing him to enroll in school.
In April 2017, the Kutoa membership voted to support people like Simbarashe and his grandmother. With the help of our donation, more orphans will gain access to healthy food and a better quality of life!
