BORDERLESS HEALTH CARE (ARCHIVED)
While you may live in a region where medical care is available, the reality is that hundreds of millions do not. In some cases it's not a lack of availability, but it's simply not available to everyone.
There are many factors that prevent people from having access to health care. Wealth, geography, religious or political affiliation, military conflict or environmental catastrophe are among the many reasons people cannot access care.
In some instances local governments are to blame, while in other case systemic issues of racism, gender bias or mere physical access to a health care facility/practitioner is simply not available.
Kutoa's heart is to see people everywhere helping people everywhere, because people everywhere matter. That is why, in the month of October, Kutoa will be featuring the work of Doctors Without Borders, because Kutoa believes that an imaginary line ought not to determine the reality of someone's care.
Be sure to spread the word so that together we can help make care possible to those who have no other way.
